Kwaguilth Kulus, 1989

"If you have ever seen an eagle walking on the beach, he looks as though he is hopping; he keeps his wings outstretched for balance. This is what I had in mind when drawing this design. The Kulus, a juvenile Thunderbird looks much like an eagle. He Kulus also represents a tamed hamatsa (Wild Man) dancer. This design depicts a tamed Hamatsa dancer in a Kulus costume.” RH

The edition size of Kwaguilth Kulus, printed in 1989 consists of 150 signed and numbered prints, 10% are Artist's Proofs and 10% are Remarques and 2 Printer's Proof. All other trial copies have been destroyed and the printing stencils obliterated.
