process. The artist is involved in the printmaking and checking
of all stencils in each copy in the edition. The design
is copyrighted by Richard Hunt, C.M.,O.B.C. and each design
is printed once.
Kwaguilth Sea Eagle (above right)
Sea Eagle is an actual bird used in the dance of the Animal
Kingdom from the Sea. The Sea Eagle dances out backwards
and then turns counter-clockwise and opens his arms up to
reveal his beautiful costume. The Sea Eagle belongs to the
Kwaguilth people of Northern Vancouver Island, B.C.
the edition size of "Sea Eagle" printed in 2001,
consists of 100 signed and numbered prints, 10% are Artist
Proofs and 10% are Remarques and 2 Printer Proofs. All other
trial copies have been destroyed and the printing stencils
obliterated.

"The top figure represents Eagle
with outstretched wings. The Eagle has its feathers around
his face to make him look like the sun. Beaver is used in
the dance of the animal kingdom. These crests belong to
the Kwaguilth of Fort Rupert, B.C. Beaver is the animal
that represents Canada. The eagle is nature to North America,
and the sun in the eagle's face represents the sun on the
flag of British Columbia. Beaver is holding the copper which
is the symbol of wealth, which we all possess, Commonwealth."

in 1993, is 180 signed and numbered prints, 10% are Artist's
Proofs and 10% are Remarques and 2 Printer's Proof. All
other trial copies have been destroyed and the printing
stencils obliterated.
